Our promise to one another — Workers and Hirers alike.

JeevikaSetu connects independent workers (Setu Partners) and households/businesses (Setu Clients) through trust. This Code applies to everyone on the platform.

General Rules (For Everyone)

Be Honest

Provide accurate information about your skills, experience, and identity. Do not misrepresent yourself or your service.

Be Professional

Honour your commitments: arrive on time, complete agreed work, and communicate clearly if plans change. Cancel only when unavoidable.

Be Safe

Keep the work environment safe. If you feel unsafe, use the SOS feature immediately. Prefer in-app communication before meeting someone for the first time.

Be Respectful

Treat everyone with dignity. Harassment, threats, or discrimination based on gender, caste, religion, region, or disability is strictly prohibited.

Protect Privacy

Do not share or misuse others' contact information, location, or personal details. Phone numbers are masked for protection — do not attempt to bypass this.

Use the Platform

Process all payments through JeevikaSetu. Off-platform transactions remove protections for both parties.

Rate Fairly

Give honest, accurate reviews. Do not offer incentives for positive reviews or threaten negative ones.

Report Problems

If you witness misconduct, harassment, or fraud, report it through the in-app dispute system or SOS. Do not take matters into your own hands.

These rules apply to all Setu Partners — workers, helpers, and service providers registered on JeevikaSetu.

Respectful Conduct Only

No shouting, abusive language, or physical misconduct at the client's premises. Remain courteous at all times, even if a dispute arises.

Punctual and Reliable

Arrive on time or inform the client well in advance if you are delayed. Repeated no-shows may result in rating penalties or suspension.

Professional Behaviour

Maintain personal hygiene. Handle client property with care. Do not bring uninvited persons to the worksite.

Inclusive and Non-Discriminatory

Treat all clients equally, regardless of their religion, caste, gender, or economic background.

Report Issues Responsibly

If you face disrespect or unsafe conditions, report through the platform rather than engaging in on-site conflict. Your complaint will be reviewed within 24 hours.

Enforcement

Violations may result in a reduced Trust Score, account suspension, or permanent ban depending on severity. Serious matters may be referred to law enforcement.
